CAT RODRIGUEZ began her career in entertainment after graduating from California State University of Northridge in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television and Film. It was there that she developed her love of writing, directing and storytelling that she values and uses today. During her time at CSUN, Rodriguez made several short films and found her biggest mentor, Alfred Hitchcock.

In her younger years, she was inspired by her mother who was a sculptor, painter and photographer. Upon graduation, Rodriguez plunged immediately into working as a production assistant on VH-1's "My Music Awards," which lead to a long string of work with MTV, an internship at Lakeshore Entertainment and eventually a position on the wildly successful "Six Feet Under."  As a result, she became well versed in all areas of production as she worked her way from a Production Assistant to now Executive Producer. Her experience ranges from feature films, national commercials, music videos, scripted and reality television.

Cat can be contacted through her agent Shade Grant at ICM Management.
